I'm going to be MIA for a few days folks. I've got a bug in my computer and it's headed for the shop.
I was doing the usual weekly cleaning of if on Saturday and at the end of it all, it said I had lost a file. Please stand by while we replace it. Yeah, and then the DST warning comes up and tells me my clock is off. Please check it. So I checked and sure enough, the computer had set itself 1 hour ahead. That is, 1 hour ahead of DST. So I put it back to the right time and hit apply. All seemed fine although I was wondering why, at the end of July, I'm getting the same message I got when DST should have kicked in in April. It was already 3 weeks behind at that point.
Anyway, I got on here yesterday and couldn't bring up my mail. Everytime I went to sign in, it told me I wasn't connected to the net. Right. I typed in the addresses of the things I wanted to go through and they all came up perfectly, so don't tell me I wasn't connected. Today, I went to do some banking and again, I couldn't sign in. Everything else is working just dandy, but I can't sign in or login to anything.
Needless to say, I'm a bit pissed. I don't know yet how long I'll be off, but, as a famous guy once said, "I'll be back."
