HEZBOLLAH
Well what comes to your mind when you read 'Hezbollah'? Pictures of Arabs trying to eliminate Jews? Drive them into the sea? Take it up from where Hitler left off? This is a difficult piece to write. I am not a supporter of Jews, but that doesn't make me an anti-Semite either. So just let me rant for a bit.
I truly believe that everyone has a right to live, believe in whatever God they wish and they should be left alone to follow their own course. I may not agree with them, but it is not my business and I have no right to force my own beliefs down someone else's throat. As much as I dislike Jehovah Witnesses, I do have to give them credit for not forcing their opinions on anyone else.
So when I read a piece in the paper about a group that put up a billboard for all to see that paid tribute to Hezbollah, I saw red. The sign has now been taken down, but it was an afront to all decent people here in Canada and worldwide.
The group that paid for this trash apparently didn't know that Hezbollah is considered a terrorist group here in the Great White North. Why? Gee, maybe because they want to see the total annihilation of the Jewish state and every Jew on the face of the Earth. When they're done with that little mission, where do you think they will turn next? Oh, might that be Christians? Why not? We're all infidels aren't we? Pray to Allah or prepare to die. Screw you. Ride back to your oasis and take your flippin' camel to bed, Achmed bin Benni.
One spokesperson, who wishes to be named, so I won't name him, says, "We're not trying offend anybody. We have freedom of speech. It's a free country. We can do anything. Every Lebanese in Canada has somebody that died in Lebanon, the freedom fighters. Who is Hezbollah? Our brothers, our family, our parents, our friends. We came to Canada and they stayed there to fight." I guess there's a pretty fine line between 'freedom fighters' and terrorists. Oh, I forgot, these are the same 'freedom fighters' who stroll through a market or restaurant with bombs strapped to themselves and waste not only their lives but those of dozens of innocents around them. Good thing these a-holes came to a free country where they can do what they want, isn't it? Try that back home or some other dictatorship and see how long you last.
It seems even the Lebanese community found the sign offensive. The billboard went up Friday and immediately drew fire from the Windsor Jewish Community Centre, the Lebanese Christian political group Kataeb and others. Good! How much more offensive can you get than to advertise that you're in favour of ridding the world of Jews?
Are we that PC that we have to put up with this nonsense? I hope not!

again, your views and SL's seem to parallel mine exactly...
Freedom of speech? Sure, everyone's entitled...
But free speech about global terrorism!? I'm thinking, NOT! I don't particularly side with the Jews either, but they aren't the ones who put up a sign telling the entire world it's ok to kill people in the name of Allah either...!
Everyone is entitled to have their own religious belief system, no matter what that system is...But when it abdicates death, murder and violence...then forget it...
I'm glad they took the damned sign down...Go the hell back to the sand dunes and eat hummus all day...who in the hell cares....
Personally I wish the whole damned United States had the same attitudes as the rest of the free world...Screw up once and your ass is outta there!
I'm tellin ya, try that shit in Iowa where I come from, and they'll run you out of town on a rail, after they tar and feather you!
Great read buddy...
Take care,
Nick
